We are seeking a savvy Student Marketing Assistant! Are you passionate about promoting events, engaging with fellow students, and sharing vibrant stories? Join us as a Student Marketing Assistant!

As part of our communications and development team, you will gain valuable skills in social media management, graphic design, content creation, photography and multimedia production while collaborating with those we support across rural campuses, multiple locations, and our Troth Yeddha’ campus.

This role is ideal for a creative student who wants real experience producing marketing content that reaches audiences across Alaska. You’ll create digital content, design visuals, and capture photos and videos that showcase student life and community impact. As part of the communications and marketing efforts for the UAF Community & Technical College (CTC) and the UAF College of Indigenous Studies (CIS), you’ll build your professional portfolio. It’s a chance to grow your skills, collaborate with a fun and supportive team, and make your mark on how UAF connects with its communities.

To thrive in this role, experience with social media, graphic design, content creation and photo/video techniques are helpful, but not required. Exceptional communication skills are desired in this position. You must be proficient in writing, pay close attention to detail, and work in a proficient and organized manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be enrolled with a minimum of 6 credit hours and have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only. Duties require considerable knowledge and skills.
