Social Media Manager

Overview

Hendricks Media is looking for a creative, reliable, and social media savvy Social Media Manager to help manage and grow our personal and business social media presence. This is a part time subcontractor position focused on content creation, social media management, posting, and audience growth.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, on brand social media content for Hendricks Media’s social channels
• Develop content ideas, hooks, captions, and short form video concepts
• Film and edit short form videos, including Reels and TikToks
• Repurpose existing content into multiple social media formats
• Write compelling captions that align with the Hendricks Media brand and audience
• Create and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
• Stay current on social media trends, trending sounds, formats, and content styles
• Help grow engagement, reach, and overall social media presence
• Monitor comments and engagement and help maintain an active online community
• Review social media analytics and identify what content is performing best
• Bring new creative ideas and recommendations for improving content performance

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience managing social media accounts professionally
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and short form video
• Excellent content creation and copywriting skills
• Strong eye for visual aesthetics and branding
• Comfortable filming and editing video
• Creative thinker who understands what makes people stop scrolling
• Ability to identify trends and turn them into relevant brand content
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar content creation tools is a plus
