Part-Time Social Media Content Creator

Part-Time | Approximately 4–6 hours per week | $20–$30/hour

Salon Frei is a modern salon in Sparta focused on thoughtful work, strong client relationships, and a calm, professional environment.

We're looking for a creative, social-media-savvy person to help us capture what happens inside the salon and turn it into content that feels current, polished, and authentically Frei.

This is a small, flexible part-time role for someone who has a good eye, understands short-form social content, and is comfortable spending time onsite capturing our team and their work. Some work can be completed remotely, but regular onsite availability in Sparta is essential.

What You'll Do

• Spend time onsite at the salon each week capturing photo and video content
• Create and edit Reels, Stories, and other short-form content for Instagram and social platforms
• Capture stylist transformations, before-and-afters, education, team moments, and the day-to-day energy of the salon
• Help develop and maintain a simple monthly content calendar
• Edit content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
• Schedule/post approved content
• Keep an eye on social trends and identify ones that make sense for the Frei brand
• Collaborate with salon leadership and our marketing partners on ideas, campaigns, and priorities

What We're Looking For

• Someone with a strong eye for visual content and what works on social media
• Comfortable shooting quality content on a phone; professional equipment is welcome but not required
• Familiarity with Instagram, Reels, Stories, and short-form video
• Basic photo/video editing skills
• Creative, reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable approaching and working with stylists and guests in a busy salon environment
• Able to come onsite regularly in Sparta, NJ
• An interest in beauty, fashion, hair, photography, film, or visual storytelling is a plus
