Colt Classic Presents
· Nashville preferred, remote considered · Full-time or contract
Colt Classic Presents is an independent promoter producing shows with venues across Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
The Marketing Manager owns each show's marketing from the day it confirms until doors, and is the person venues, agents, managers, and city partners actually talk to. One part campaign strategy, one part ticketing operations, one part getting fifteen calendars to agree with each other.
Reports to
Owner / CEO / and Talent Buyer(s)
Partners with
Talent buyer, venue marketing leads, agents and management, city media partners, contract designers
What the job looks like
A campaign runs the same arc every time
Confirmed —
You open the marketing thread and own the show. The kickoff note carries the ticket link, promo toolkit, Facebook event, the assets you need from the artist's team (30–45 second promo video, hi-res press photos), tagging instructions, local partners already in motion, and the paid-ads targeting list.
Announce —
Right event, right workspace, no duplicates, correct tiers and fees: the ticket link and landing page get verified *before* announce, not after. Then the show lands on the venue calendar, the internal calendar, and the city listing sites, and admats go to everyone who posts.
On-sale —
Paid social through venue and artist pages: chase ad-account access, get the pixel installed (pixel over link tracking — the conversion data is worth the hassle), build comp-artist audiences, pace budget roughly 20% at launch and ongoing, 80% into the final push three to four weeks out.
Build —
Giveaways, fee-free windows, bundles, ticket allocations and donation programs, community and influencer outreach, city media partnerships, email and SMS broadcasts. You read counts weekly and decide where the next dollar goes.
Show week —
Low-ticket pushes and day-of assets going in; photographer coordination, photos, and recaps coming out — the content that feeds the next campaign.
All week —
The show roadmap, the marketing tracker, the roles-and-access sheet, weekly reporting to ownership, support-act and vendor contacts current in the ticketing platform so settlement is clean on the night, vendor invoices moving, new teammates onboarded into all of it.
What we're looking for
Required
— 2–4+ years marketing live events (promoter, venue, festival, label, agency, or artist team) · Hands-on Meta Ads Manager: pixels, audiences, budget pacing, reading conversion data · Working knowledge of a ticketing platform and what its reports mean · Organized across many simultaneous deadlines — announces don't move · Fast, clear writing with people you'll never meet in person · Spreadsheets as an operating tool
Nice to have
— Relationships with agents, managers, or city media partners · Enough design skill to resize an admat and build from a template · Email marketing and automation · Familiarity with one or more of our markets
Details
Full-time or ongoing contract, both open · Nashville preferred, remote considered · Occasional show nights and travel · Weekday core hours with evening/weekend spikes around announces and show weeks
Application questions
- Walk us through the last show you marketed: the room, the goal, the result.
- A show is three weeks out at 40% sold. What are your next three moves, in order?
- Which ticketing platforms have you worked in, and what did you use them for?
- How would you set up Meta ads when the venue controls both the ad account and the pixel?
- How do you keep fifteen shows in six markets straight? Show us your system.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
