Marketing Communications Assistant/Associate

About the Role

We are looking for someone to contribute to the way Fava Tea communicates with its customers and staff. You would work closely with the owners and the general management team on communications that support company goals, strengthen customer relationships, and give our retail employees what they need to carry out marketing plans in the stores.

The work begins in three areas: email marketing, in-store communications, and internal marketing support. As the position develops, it can grow to include our social media presence and our website.

This job suits someone who is comfortable on both sides of marketing. You will help decide what to say, then write it, produce it, and follow it through to the sales floor.

Primary Responsibilities

Email Marketing

• Write email content that reflects the Fava Tea brand and supports sales, promotions, product education, and customer relationships
• Build, schedule, test, and send campaigns to our customer list
• Keep the customer email list current and well organized
• Shape an email calendar and look for opportunities for targeted or automated messages
• Track how campaigns perform and suggest changes based on what customers respond to
• Confirm that every send is accurate, on time, and in step with company priorities

In-Store Communications

• Create the printed and digital materials used in our retail stores
• Support promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, customer education, and company announcements
• Coordinate printing, distribution, and setup across store locations
• Proof materials for accuracy, consistency, and fit with the Fava Tea brand
• Keep the message steady whether a customer sees it in an email, on a shelf tag, or on a digital display

Internal Marketing Support

• Explain marketing plans, promotions, and expectations to store managers and staff in plain terms
• Give employees the details and materials they need to carry out each initiative
