Development & Communications Manager

Position Summary

The Development & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising, donor stewardship, grant development, marketing, and communication strategies that support Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County's mission and growth. This position reports directly to the CEO and may work remotely, with occasional attendance at organizational meetings and major events.

Fundraising & Development

• Develop and implement the annual fundraising plan.
• Manage individual donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Develop corporate sponsorship opportunities and partnership proposals.
• Coordinate annual giving campaigns and special fundraising appeals.
• Maintain donor records and gift tracking within donor management systems.
• Analyze fundraising performance and recommend improvements

Community Outreach

• Representing the organization at community meetings, networking events, civic groups, schools, churches, and businesses.
• Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate outreach opportunities that increase awareness of the organization's mission.
• Serve as a primary community ambassador for the affiliate.

Grant Management

• Research grant opportunities.
• Prepare and submit grant applications.
• Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance.
• Coordinate data collection needed for grant reporting.

Marketing & Communications

• Develop and manage the organization's communication strategy.
• Oversee production of newsletters, annual reports, donor communications, press releases and campaign materials.
• Manage website content and updates.
• Oversee social media strategy and content calendar.
• Coordinate homeowner stories, impact reports, videos, and other promotional content.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
