Program Description

Backcountry Wellness is an eating disorder treatment program founded with the mission of bridging comprehensive recovery with the demands of real life. Our treatment philosophy embraces compassion and understanding, safety and nurturing, and a focus on family involvement to equip our patients with the tools to make lasting changes within their lives. Backcountry Wellness provides immersive programming for children and adolescents who live with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake, Orthorexia, and Other Specific Feeding and Eating Disorders (OSFED).

Job Summary

The Strategic Outreach & Marketing Manager is responsible for expanding Backcountry Wellness's visibility, professional network, and reach through a thoughtful combination of relationship development, strategic outreach, digital marketing, content, public relations, and community engagement.

Working closely with program leadership, this individual will help translate BCW's vision, clinical expertise, and unique approach to care into creative opportunities to reach referral partners, families, professionals, and the broader community.

The ideal candidate is dynamic, highly motivated, creative, and tenacious. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing relationships with key referral sources, pursuing a podcast or media opportunity, spearheading a digital campaign, developing an event, or identifying an entirely new way for BCW to reach its audience.
