Social Media Video Creator & Editor (Part time to start)

Widefoc.us is looking for a skilled video editor who lives and breathes short-form content. You’re a talented and experienced collaborator who can turn raw footage and brand assets into scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and similar types of content. You have formal video editing training and understand how pacing, sound, transitions, and hooks drive real engagement, and you’re open to starting part-time with the possibility of moving to full.

The WideFoc.us Social Media Video Creator & Editor works closely with our Director of Client Strategy & Growth, community managers, and our clients to create engaging, high converting video content across platforms — Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, and whatever comes next.

The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, detail-oriented storyteller who has solid time management skills and works well under limited supervision. You must be a self-starter who can work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

*Concept & Strategy*

• Work with the team on creative concepts and storylines for video content that align with our clients’ brand identity, social media goals and target audience
• Stay current on emerging trends and platform features across all social media channels, weaving them into content to maximize reach and engagement
• Stay aware of what's performing well across accounts — as well as clients’ unique preferences — and adjust editing style accordingly

*Editing & Production*

• Produce visually captivating, attention-grabbing videos using editing skills and creativity
• Create, edit, and enhance videos using professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, Canva or CapCut
• Edit for pacing, sound/music, captions/text overlays
