Social Media Specialist

First Station Media is looking for a creative Social Media Specialist who has experience in growing our clients' social media presence. This person must be self-motivated and eager to learn. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of managing a plethora of social media accounts across all platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X) as well as in-depth knowledge of the Meta Business Suite.

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, and maintain existing accounts while also adding new accounts using a standard protocol
• Establish new paid/sponsored campaigns across all platforms; maintain existing campaigns with great care
• Abide by all platform stipulations to ensure posts and campaigns are not rejected or postponed
• Resolve any and all issues that may arise with profiles
• Manage and engage in social media platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram
• Research methods to increase social media presence and apply to platforms
• Plan and implement promotional campaigns
• Create and execute social media strategies
• Collaborate with the social media team to apply social media practices

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Meta's posting regulations, or the ability to undergo Meta Business training courses and hands-on shadowing; Meta Business Suite knowledge is a plus
• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Background in graphic design a plus
• Must possess excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Driven to positively execute and promote social media campaigns
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Experience in digital marketing and social media
