Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, social-first Social Media Content Creator & Strategist to join our team and own the day-to-day content engine for Fancy Peasant.

This person will be responsible for all things content and social media — from strategy and ideation to editing, content planning, UGC management, and execution. You will work closely with our Founder and internal team to determine what we should be creating, build the plan to capture it, and turn those ideas into polished, engaging content.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with social media experience — or an emerging creative who is deeply passionate about the space and wants to build their career in content and social.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Content Creation

• Own and maintain the Fancy Peasant content calendar and overall social media workflow.
• Develop ongoing content concepts, series, trends, hooks, and storytelling opportunities.
• Edit high-quality Reels, TikToks, short-form video, recipes, product storytelling, lifestyle content, and campaign assets.
• Transform and repurpose raw footage, photography, and existing assets into polished, publish-ready content.
• Stay deeply immersed in social trends, emerging platforms, audio, editing styles, and cultural moments, bringing relevant ideas to the team proactively.
• Utilize AI and emerging creative tools to ideate, create, enhance, and scale content efficiently.
• Monitor content performance and use insights to continuously improve creative strategy.
