Social Media and Event Manager

Job Summary

Join our dynamic marketing team as an Event and Social Media Manager, where your creative skills will be put to use in our fast growing business. In this role, you will create reels, stories, event flyers, marketing material, posts and more for our fast-paced environment. Your expertise in marketing will go a long way to create top notch events and marketing material so Kava Works remains a great place to have fun and socialize.

Duties

• Company Laptop and video equipment/software are provided.
• Create event calendars for every month- working with ownership, management, and customer requests.
• Coordinate materials for events. (i.e. purchasing any materials required for an events food, paint supplies, signage, etc.)
• Create flyers that are posted online and in person for event awareness.
• Create Advertisement and Graphic material for sales, new products, etc.
• Create videos, reels, stories to gain engagement and advertisement.
• Create physical marketing material and signage to create brand awareness and build the Kava Works brand.

Qualifications

• Strong computer and tech skills.
• Photography/Videography experience
• Social Media management experience
• Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Canva, Facebook, Instagram.
• High School GED, and/or College education for marketing.
• Ability to travel to all 3 Kava Works locations
• Flexible schedule and strict deadlines
• Ability to communicate promptly
• Punctuality and self-discipline to adhere to business requirements.

This is an hourly position with the possibility of going on salary should performance be satisfactory. This position has scheduled working hours in addition to non-scheduled work hours dependent on event cadence and needs of the business.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
