Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist

Albany, NY based advertising agency is seeking a Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to advance the goals, messaging, and social marketing initiatives of our clients. The position is essential to building brand, creating cohesive content across multi-platforms, growing communities, audience engagement and retaining loyal customers.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for organic and paid social media campaign strategy, execution, and management for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, TikTok, Google My Business, and others as needed.

· Identify, create, write, prepare/format, post and manage interesting organic and paid content that is relevant to and supports the client's strategy and goals.

· Maintain social media content calendar for each client.

· Listen to and monitor all social media outlets daily and post/respond to facilitate conversations.

· Create content for other platforms utilized by client such as radio & TV scripts, newsprint, website, email and paid digital.

· Set, track and report on insights and meaningful metrics (KPIs) to evaluate success.

· Develop campaign performance reports for use by both the internal team and external clients.

· Online research of social media trends, opportunities, and competitive data to present internally as requested.

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s Degree

· A minimum of one-year work experience in a similar role of managing social media campaigns and content generation.

· Facebook Advertising and Google Analytics Certifications preferred.

· A background and/or interest in measurement and optimization of marketing ROI is key to this role.

· Good understanding of popular social networks - the unique design, functionality, and users of each.

· Proficiency in social listening tools, HootSuite preferred.

· Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite highly preferred.
