Marketing Communications Coordinator

Overview: * This position is open until filled with an initial application review to take place after September 18, 2026. * The pay rate for this position is $30.05 per hour + benefits at 40 hours per week and is non-negotiable. * This position works a hybrid schedule of 3 onsite and 2 remote days per week.

Under general supervision the Marketing Communications Coordinator for SDSU Global Campus supports integrated, omnichannel marketing communications that advance student recruitment, engagement, and retention goals. This position creates and executes audience-focused communications across email, web, social media, SMS, print, video, and other channels to support a consistent experience throughout the student journey.

Responsibilities include, writing, editing, researching, and adapting marketing content for multiple audiences and campaign objectives while ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with SDSU Brand Standards.

Working collaboratively with teams across the organization, the Marketing Communications Coordinator supports integrated campaigns, coordinates deliverables and timelines, and uses performance insights to improve marketing and communications content.

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong foundation in marketing, CRM experience, sound copywriting skills, strong critical thinking skills, and an interest in contributing across channels, tools, and initiatives.
