Social Media & Content Coordinator

Do you have an eye for a great photo? Are you a person who quickly notices TikTok trends and feel that you can replicate it to boost a business or product? Do you enjoy creating Reels, shooting short-form video, styling products, writing captions and figuring out what makes people stop scrolling?

We are a locally owned group of small retail businesses in Greenville, SC looking for a creative, outgoing Social Media & Content Coordinator to help bring our brands to life online.

You'll create content for three unique Greenville retail concepts:

Greenville Gemstone Mine

— Jewelry, gemstones, crystals, fossils, gem mining and more.

Sacred Chakra

— A metaphysical-focused retail store featuring crystals, jewelry and other unique merchandise.

Greenville Local

— Our newest concept, an upscale apparel and souvenir shop celebrating Greenville and the Upstate.

This is a hands-on creative position. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of it.

Our goal isn't simply to “post on social media.” We want to create interesting, authentic content that grows our audience, showcases our products and personalities, and ultimately gives people another reason to visit our Greenville stores.

What You'll Do

You'll help manage and create organic social media content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, including:

• Photographing merchandise, displays and interesting things happening in our stores
• Filming and editing Reels, TikToks and other short-form video
• Appearing on camera for product features, trends and other content
• Creating graphics and social content using Canva or similar tools
• Writing engaging captions and post copy
• Scheduling and publishing posts
• Creating and maintaining a regular content calendar
• Creating Stories and other timely in-store content
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to comments and social media messages
