SEO Account Manager

About the Role

Interactive Palette is expanding its digital marketing services, including ongoing SEO management and related offerings for our clients. We're looking for someone who can independently own a full portfolio of client accounts, manage client relationships, analyze performance data, and oversee execution work delivered by our team.

This is not a role focused on making day-to-day changes to websites. It's a role for someone who can look at a client's numbers, distinguish real business results from activity, and have that conversation directly with the client on their own initiative.

You'll work closely with Interactive Palette's owner on overall strategy and expectations, but day-to-day, you'll own your assigned accounts end-to-end.

Because we work with a mix of small and mid-sized businesses across industries, you'll also need to be comfortable learning new businesses quickly and managing multiple client accounts at once.

What You'll Do

Client Relationship & Account Ownership

• Independently own the full portfolio of client accounts assigned to you, with full responsibility for their results, reporting, and relationship.
• Own regular check-ins with assigned clients, tied to a cadence based on account size.
• Present SEO performance in terms clients actually care about: leads, conversions, and business impact, not just rankings and traffic.
• Proactively identify when an account's results diverge from the client's expectations.
• Translate SEO reporting into a clear point of view the client can act on.

Performance Analysis & Conversion Tracking

• Audit and validate conversion tracking on client websites (GA4, Google Tag Manager, form/lead events) to confirm reported leads reflect real, successful actions.
• Identify and correct tracking gaps or inconsistencies, including legacy or conflicting tracking setups.
