Yuit Communications is an independent, full-service advertising and communications agency headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, with a growing presence in Seattle.

Our work spans advertising and paid media, strategy, brand and creative development, public relations, web development, production, research, analytics and measurement. We work with organizations across industries including telecommunications, tourism, Alaska Native corporations, healthcare, government, energy and logistics.

Yuit is entering its next stage of growth, and we are refreshing our external positioning, website, and core business-development materials to better reflect the agency we are becoming.

We are looking for an experienced senior copywriter to help us translate that direction into clear, distinctive and human language.

This is not a high-volume content-writing assignment.

We are looking for a senior writer who can quickly understand a complex organization, interview experienced leaders, find the strongest story inside a large amount of information, and write with credibility for sophisticated business decision-makers.

The Assignment

You will work directly with Yuit's President, Creative Director and department leaders to develop the copy for a new Yuit website and selected supporting business-development materials.

The strategic foundation will already exist. Yuit will retain ownership of business strategy, positioning and factual claims.

Your job is to make that strategy compelling in language.

That will require moving comfortably between executive-level storytelling, brand writing, technical and complex subject matter, case studies, capability positioning, and concise digital copy
