Marketing Manager

Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the theatre, increase ticket sales, strengthen community awareness, and build lasting relationships with guests. This position oversees the theatre's marketing efforts across digital, print, social media, email, advertising, public relations, and in-house promotional channels.

The Marketing Manager works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, artists, promoters, vendors, media partners, and community organizations to develop creative and effective campaigns for concerts, comedy shows, movies, community events, and other theatre programming.

The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Essential Functions

• Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for theatre programming, including concerts, comedy shows, movies/films, special events, and community programming. Establish promotional timelines and coordinate campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, advertising, and in-house channels.
• Ticket Sales & Audience Development: Develop marketing strategies designed to increase ticket sales, attract new guests, encourage repeat attendance, and grow the theatre's overall audience. Monitor ticket sales and adjust promotional efforts based on event performance, inventory, and sales trends.
• Social Media Management: Manage the theatre's social media presence, including content planning, creation, scheduling, posting, and engagement. Develop creative content including graphics, photography, video, reels, stories, event announcements, and behind-the-scenes features while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
