Marketing Generalist — Part-Time Contract (Hybrid, West Orange NJ)

Builder Supply Link is a wholesale building-materials company: we sell flooring, windows, doors and finish materials direct to builders and contractors at low margins. We were founded by builders, for builders. We are launching flooring in three markets — Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta and Ohio — and we need one person who can plan the campaign, buy the media, make the creative, and tell us honestly whether it worked.

This is a hands-on, do-the-work role. Not a strategy role, not a management role. You will be the whole marketing function for a small, fast-moving company, reporting directly to the CEO.

WHAT YOU'D OWN

Campaign strategy and targeting. Identify and reach flooring subcontractors, remodelers and small builders in DFW, Atlanta and Ohio. Define the demographics, build the target lists, decide the message.

Media planning and buying. Facebook/Instagram ads, Google, construction trade journals, direct mail. You decide where the money goes, place the buys and manage the spend against a real budget.

Creative production. Postcards, flyers, ad creative, landing pages, email campaigns, social posts. You produce it — we are not hiring an agency behind you.

Measurement. Track cost per lead, cost per contractor sign-up and channel performance. Report a real number every week, not a vibe. Kill what does not work and move the money.

YOU'RE RIGHT FOR THIS IF YOU

3+ years running small-budget campaigns end to end, ideally B2B

Can design a decent postcard and ad yourself (Canva, Adobe, Figma — we do not care which)

Have actually placed and managed paid social and search buys with your own hands

Are comfortable with construction, trades or industrial customers — or eager to learn the trade fast

Write clean, plain copy that a busy contractor will read

Are organized enough to run three regional markets at once without dropping anything

Want part-time contract work (roughly 12 ho
