Kalen Marketing Solutions is a strategy-first marketing firm helping organizations grow through intentional, integrated marketing. We're expanding our team and looking for a Marketing Consultant who can do more than manage accounts or coordinate marketing projects.

This role combines marketing strategy, client leadership, and business development.

As a Marketing Consultant, you'll be responsible for developing and growing your own book of business while serving as the strategic advisor for the clients you manage. That means building relationships, generating new opportunities, leading discovery conversations, developing marketing strategies, and guiding clients toward the marketing decisions that best support their goals.

This is not an order-taking account management role.

Clients may come to us asking for a website, social media campaign, video, digital ads, or another specific tactic. Your job is to step back and understand *why*. What is the business trying to accomplish? Who are they trying to reach? What's getting in their way? Is the tactic they're requesting actually the right solution?

Sometimes the answer will be yes. Sometimes you'll need to recommend something different.

We're looking for someone comfortable saying, "Based on what you're trying to accomplish, here's what I recommend and why."

You'll have a talented team of creative, digital, web, content, video, and technology specialists behind you. Your responsibility is to make sure they're solving the right problem and working toward a clear strategy.
