Shop Black Fest is looking for a reliable, organized Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Shop Black Fest is a traveling festival and business platform that connects Black-owned businesses with customers, resources, and opportunities to grow.

We're looking for someone who can help us stay consistent with our marketing, customer communication, and day-to-day administrative work. You'll work closely with our leadership team and Event Manager to keep projects moving and make sure important tasks are completed on time.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish social media content
• Help manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Threads
• Create and update simple graphics in Canva
• Edit short-form video content for social media
• Manage content through social media scheduling platforms
• Assist with Meta Business Suite
• Update email campaigns and automated email workflows
• Update automated text message campaigns
• Assist with newsletters and other customer communications
• Create and update Eventbrite event pages
• Update event information, dates, links, graphics, and marketing materials
• Help maintain marketing and event calendars
• Update spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documents
• Keep assigned projects organized and on schedule
• Conduct occasional research for future events, partners, vendors, and 2027 cities
• Assist with other marketing and administrative projects as needed

Experience with Systeme.io is a plus but not required. Experience with other email marketing, CRM, or automation platforms is transferable.
