Marketing and Sales Coordinator

Duties

1. Local Sales & Corporate Accounts (Local Work & Business)

* Proactively identify and engage local businesses, construction/project teams, and corporate offices to secure corporate rate agreements and local workforce lodging blocks.

2. Local Events & Community Partnerships

• Monitor local event calendars (festivals, sports tournaments, concerts, university events, city conventions) and build targeted room block offers around peak dates.
• Establish cross-promotional partnerships with local businesses, tourist attractions, venues, and restaurants to create packaged guest experiences and drive mutual referrals.
• Represent the hotel at local business chamber meetings, networking events, and tourism board gatherings to increase brand presence within the immediate community.

3. Visitor Capture & Local Walk-in Revenue

• Develop strategies and marketing touchpoints to convert day visitors, local road-trippers, and drop-in guests into hotel, lounge, or dining patrons.
• Coordinate local directional signage, tourist-center collateral, and geo-targeted digital/social promotions aimed at travelers currently in the area.
• Package local weekend getaways, staycations, and day-pass amenities to capture local resident leisure spending during off-peak periods.
