E-commerce/Shopify SEO Specialist

Job Summary

As an E-commerce/Shopify SEO Specialist, you’ll strengthen the visibility and performance of online stores through practical search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics. You’ll develop SEO strategies, improve product and category content, and use data to guide website updates. Your work will help shoppers find relevant products and navigate a clearer path to purchase.

Duties

• Develop and manage SEO campaigns for Shopify and other e-commerce websites, including keyword research, metadata, and SEO content optimization.
• Conduct technical SEO and SEO analysis; identify issues involving site structure, search engines, and website management, and coordinate improvements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other SEO tools to monitor web analytics and prepare clear reporting.
• Apply conversion optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) insights to improve the shopping experience; support link building, social media management, and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts.
• Manage content across content management systems (CMS), including WordPress, and collaborate on digital marketing and marketing analytics initiatives. Your impact: Better-organized, search-friendly product pages help shoppers discover relevant items and make informed purchase decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience with e-commerce, SEO, and technical marketing; able to develop and execute a search engine optimization strategy.
• Working knowledge of keyword research, technical SEO, metadata, SEO content optimization, and SEO campaigns.
• Familiarity with web analytics, web analytics reporting, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
• Practical understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify, WordPress, and content management systems.
• Knowledge of conversion optimization, link building, SEO tools, website management, social media management, and SEM is preferred.

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
