Job Description
We are looking for a creative, organized marketer who can turn our work into compelling content and help move business development opportunities forward. You will establish and manage our company social presence, create polished copy and visuals, turn completed projects into case studies, and coordinate outreach and follow-up with prospective clients.
This is a hands-on role working directly with the founder and our delivery team. You will take ownership from idea and first draft through design, approval, publication and reporting. The anticipated split is approximately 70% content, design and publishing, and 30% business development support.
What you will do
Build and manage our brand presence
- Create and fully populate the Deployee AI LinkedIn company page, including its description, banner, profile assets and initial content. Set up and maintain other agreed social channels.
- Develop a consistent visual style and reusable templates. Create banners, icons, illustrations, infographics, carousels, website images and presentation assets using design and AI-assisted tools.
- Manage the content calendar, asset library, review process, publishing schedule and relevant comments or inbound inquiries.
Create content and customer case studies
- Develop original content ideas and turn founder insights, interviews, project notes and demos into clear posts, articles, website copy and sales materials.
- Interview our team and turn completed client work into case studies covering the business challenge, solution, implementation and verified outcomes.
- Publish approved case studies and content through our website CMS, coordinating with developers when needed, and adapt each story for LinkedIn and other selected channels.
- Check facts and secure approval for client names, screenshots and performance claims before publication. Track content performance and recommend improvements.
Support business development
- Research target companies and decision-makers and prepare relevant account briefs and personalized outreach.
- Coordinate approved outreach, follow up with prospects and existing conversations, schedule meetings and prepare supporting content.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps and follow-up dates. Provide a concise weekly pipeline update and help the founder prepare for prospect meetings.
What you bring
* A strong portfolio of content you personally wrote and visual assets you personally created, with your contribution clearly identified.
Helpful experience
- Three or more years in B2B content marketing, digital marketing, brand content or a related role; equivalent demonstrated work is welcome.
- Work with AI, software, technology consulting or professional services companies.
- Customer case studies, founder content, sales collateral and website content management.
- Basic SEO, analytics, video editing or product demo production.
A specific degree is not required. We value the quality of your work, your judgment and your ability to execute.
Why this role
You will work directly with the founder, shape how General Labs presents its work, and build a portfolio around practical AI projects. The role offers ownership across storytelling, design, publishing and business development, with a direct connection between your work and new business opportunities.
- Excellent written English and the ability to explain technical products in clear, credible business language.
- Hands-on experience managing a company LinkedIn page, social content or B2B marketing campaigns.
- Strong visual judgment across typography, layout and brand consistency, plus proficiency with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable tools.
- Practical use of AI tools for research, drafting, image generation or design, combined with careful editing, fact-checking and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating outreach, managing prospect follow-ups and maintaining a CRM or structured pipeline tracker.
- The ability to work independently, interview subject matter experts, manage deadlines and take projects through completion.
