Hago is building a marketplace for everyday help, connecting people who could use an extra set of hands with trusted local Helpers ready to step in.

We’re looking for a hungry, hands-on Community Growth Lead to help grow Hago across the DMV. This is an early-stage role for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building relationships, testing creative growth ideas, and turning local awareness into actual bookings.

The Role

This is not a traditional desk-based marketing role. You will work directly with Hago’s founding team and spend your time figuring out where Hago belongs, who should know about us, and what actually gets people to try it.

The right person is entrepreneurial, persuasive, organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to do the hands-on work required to build something from the ground up. You should enjoy meeting people, opening doors, testing ideas, and being measured by real outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Neighbor acquisition across Hago’s initial DMV communities
• Build and foster relationships with apartment/condo communities, universities, senior communities, neighborhood groups, local organizations, and other potential partners
• Identify and execute grassroots acquisition opportunities
• Coordinate local activations, events, tabling, flyering, and community outreach
• Test different messages, promotions & offers, referral programs, and acquisition channels
• Help turn early interest into first bookings
• Track channel performance and what’s working and recommend where Hago should invest more, or stop investing
• Share learnings and coordinate with Operations and Product teams to shape strategy and impact
• Help develop repeatable growth playbooks that Hago can eventually use in new communities
