Camp Gravy | Los Angeles, CA, Part-time - likely to grow into a full-time role

Camp Gravy is looking for an organized, proactive Assistant Media Planner & Buyer with 1+ years of relevant experience to support advertising campaigns, with an emphasis on podcast ad buying and hands on paid social campaign management.

You’ll work directly with the founder to research advertising opportunities, coordinate podcast placements, manage campaigns in social media advertising platforms, and track results. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys both relationship-driven media buying and data-driven campaign optimization.

The position will start part-time and is likely to grow into a full-time role as the business and your responsibilities expand. Los Angeles based candidates preferred.

What You’ll Do

Podcast Media Planning & Buying

• Research podcasts, hosts, networks, and audiences to identify opportunities aligned with client goals.
• Request proposals, evaluate inventory, compare CPMs, and assist with negotiating rates and added value.
• Help plan and purchase host-read ads, baked-in placements, dynamically inserted ads, and podcast sponsorships.
• Coordinate insertion orders, talking points, promo codes, tracking links, creative approvals, and launch schedules.
• Verify ad placements, monitor delivery, and follow up with partners on reporting and makegoods.
• Maintain podcast buying trackers, partner contacts, budgets, and campaign calendars.

Paid Social Campaign Management

• Assist with building, launching, and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, with opportunities to work across TikTok Ads Manager and other platforms.
• Set up campaign objectives, audiences, budgets, placements, and ad creative.
• Monitor spending, pacing, and performance; recommend and implement approved optimizations.
