Social Media Manager & Content Creator for Thorogood® Workwear – Part-Time Contract

Thorogood® Workwear is looking for a creative, social-first Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help manage and grow our social presence across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands the blue-collar world. Whether your experience comes from working in the trades, creating content in the space, or managing social media for workwear, construction, automotive, manufacturing or similar brands, you should understand the culture, humor, work ethic and conversations that resonate with this audience.

This is not simply a scheduling and posting role. We want someone who can help make Thorogood Workwear a brand people genuinely want to follow through strong content, community engagement, creator relationships and authentic storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day content across Thorogood Workwear’s Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels.
• Develop and maintain a social content calendar aligned with campaigns, product launches and relevant cultural moments.
• Concept, create and edit original short-form content for Reels, TikTok and Stories.
• Write engaging captions and social copy that feel authentic to the Thorogood brand and blue-collar audience.
• Develop recurring content series and creative concepts that build brand personality beyond promotional posts.
• Identify relevant trends, memes, conversations and cultural moments the brand can authentically participate in.
• Actively engage with followers, tradespeople, creators and relevant accounts to help grow the Thorogood community.
• Identify UGC, creators and emerging voices within the trades and blue-collar space.
• Support and amplify content from Thorogood ambassadors, influencers and brand partners.
• Repurpose existing photography and video into fresh, social-first content.
• Monitor social performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement, reach and audience growth.
