We're combining the enjoyment of candy with the science of oral health to create a product that people will actually look forward to using every day.

As we prepare to launch our brand, we're looking for a highly creative, social-media-savvy content creator who can help us build an audience, establish our brand personality, and create engaging content that captures attention.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, outgoing, and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator who knows how to make people stop scrolling.

You'll be responsible for developing, filming, editing, and publishing engaging short-form videos and social media content, primarily for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

We're looking for someone who understands what makes content entertaining, shareable, and potentially viral.

This isn't a traditional corporate marketing position. We want someone with personality, creativity, humor, and the ability to turn a new consumer product into a brand people are excited to follow.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Brainstorm original content ideas, viral challenges, skits, product demonstrations, and entertaining educational videos.
• Film and edit high-quality videos using a smartphone, camera, and editing software.
• Stay on top of emerging social media trends, popular sounds, memes, and viral content formats.
• Help develop our brand's social media identity, tone, and personality.
• Create compelling content around candy, oral health, lifestyle, wellness, and everyday routines.
• Collaborate directly with the company's founders to develop creative marketing campaigns.
• Help build excitement and brand awareness leading up to our product launch.
• Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls to action.
• Monitor content performance, including views, engagement, shares, and follower growth.
• Experiment with different video formats to identify what resonates with our audience.
• Potentially appear on camera or coordinate with other creators to produce content.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video trends.
• Experience creating and editing engaging social media videos.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
• Strong creative instincts, storytelling skills, and sense of humor.
• Ability to independently develop ideas, film content, and complete edits.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Portfolio of previous social media content or links to accounts you've created content for.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience creating content for food, candy, beverage, wellness, beauty, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.
• Experience helping a brand grow organically on TikTok or Instagram.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and user-generated content (UGC).
• Experience appearing on camera.
• Photography, product videography, or graphic design skills.
• Familiarity with emerging consumer trends and Gen Z / Millennial audiences.

A degree is not required. Creativity, execution, and a strong portfolio matter much more to us.
