Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a creative, motivated, team-oriented social media specialist to join a company with a Culture of Caring. We love helping people build relationships, discover new food and drink, and grow personally and professionally. This will start as a 3 month engagement to start, with potential for a longer term extension, and a mix of onsite and remote work. It's a great chance to build a real portfolio in a fun, fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who loves telling stories through content and wants to help grow our brand!

The ideal candidate will

• Plan, film, and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels
• Come into the restaurant to capture food, team, and behind-the-scenes content
• Write captions and post copy that keep a positive, on-brand tone
• Track how content performs and suggest ideas to improve reach and engagement
• Keep up with food and social media trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
• Support the Lead or owners with marketing projects as needed
• Develop positive working relationships with all team members
• Complete all other duties as assigned

Pay

$20.00 per hour to start, plus performance bonuses tied to how your content performs.

Schedule

3 month engagement to start, with potential for a longer term extension. Hours are flexible, and work is split between onsite and remote. You must be able to come in to film content.

Qualifications

• Passion for social media, content creation, and food
• Creative, organized, and self-motivated
• Comfortable filming and editing on a phone or camera
• Familiar with tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar
• Comfortable on camera and working around a busy kitchen
• Able to manage your own time when working remotely

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college, or a strong content portfolio
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Reliable transportation to the restaurant in Folsom for filming
• Available to come in for shoots, including some evenings and weekends

Pay: $20.00 per hour
