Social Media Assistant

Duties

* Social Media Insights and Trends: + Monitor social media trends, audience behaviors, and industry insights to inform content strategy across channels and audiences + Analyze performance metrics per post and deliver actionable insights to management to enhance ministry engagement + Stay current on emerging social media features and best practices to ensure Joni and Friends remains at the forefront of digital trends + Research and identify suitable partners for collaboration, considering audience demographics, brand alignment, and engagement potential * Content Creation + Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute comprehensive social media strategies that boost brand awareness and engagement + Review available ministry collateral and suggest content that aligns with current initiatives and trends + Transform ministry impact stories into compelling social copy, graphics, and short-form video content * Reporting and Optimization: + Provide reporting on social media performance and key metrics + Offer insights for reach, engagement, and optimization recommendations * Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs

Qualifications

• Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
• Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years experience creating social media content for an organization or public figure.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines
• Detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, a team player and self-starter who is flexible and able to work independently
• Must have a strong sense of confidentiality
• Proficient using social media platforms, Sprout Social, CapCut, Canva, Asana, and MS0365
