Social Media & Marketing Consultant Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media & Marketing Consultant to increase our organization's visibility and strengthen community engagement. This role supports organizational marketing and communications, working closely with the Development Director to bring our programs and youth voices to a wider audience. The consultant will create regular social media content and mentor youth in digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Posting

∙ Create and publish social media content 2 to 4 times per week, depending on organizational activities and events

∙ Write original posts highlighting the organization's mission, programs, and impact to build visibility and community buzz

∙ Develop short-form videos, engaging captions, and photography as needed

∙ Review and edit photos and captions submitted by youth participants before posting
