Social Media Analyst

Mutiny is a social-first integrated creative agency focused solely on the video gaming space, anchored by deep audience insights, integrated creative thinking, and proprietary data and strategy.

We’re hiring a Social Media Analyst to join the strategy team and own social analytics for a major gaming client, including recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and social listening.

The ideal candidate has experience within a mature analytics function or under experienced analytics leadership and is ready to independently apply those best practices. They should be comfortable with rigorous QA and able to clearly document and defend their methodology, assumptions, benchmarks, and conclusions.

What you'll do

• Own recurring and ad hoc cross-platform social reporting and analysis.
• Build and maintain Sprinklr dashboards and reporting workflows.
• Support social listening using Meltwater or comparable tools.
• Manage tagging, taxonomy, content classification, and governance.
• Establish meaningful benchmarks across platforms, formats, campaigns, and content types.
• Translate data into concise, evidence-based, client-facing insights and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain clear documentation of sources, methodology, formulas, assumptions, caveats, and limitations.
• Independently prioritize requests and manage the day-to-day analytics workflow.

What we’re looking for

• Direct experience in social analytics and owned social performance reporting across multiple platforms.
• Strong hands-on Sprinklr dashboard/workflow-building experience; Looker Studio experience is also valuable.
• Experience with Meltwater or comparable social listening platforms.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific metrics, benchmarking, tagging/taxonomy, and sentiment analysis.
• Basic statistical literacy and sound analytical judgment.
