Arcana Empothecary is an independent wellness retailer and modern apothecary serving the San Diego community for nearly three decades. We offer practitioner-quality supplements, herbal and homeopathic remedies, essential oils, flower essences, skincare products, and personalized wellness consultations.

We are looking for a resourceful, hands-on Part-Time Marketing Manager to organize and execute our ongoing marketing efforts. This is an ideal role for someone who can work independently, turn ideas into action, and help a respected local business grow without requiring a large agency structure or budget.

The Role

The Part-Time Marketing Manager will coordinate Arcana’s marketing activities across practitioner outreach, social media, website content, email marketing, events, and digital advertising.

This is not purely a social media role. We need someone who can understand the business as a whole, prioritize the opportunities most likely to produce results, and consistently move projects forward. The right person does not need to personally perform every specialized task but should be capable of managing outside vendors or freelancers when appropriate.

Key ResponsibilitiesPractitioner and Professional Outreach

• Develop and manage marketing campaigns to local physicians, naturopathic doctors, functional medicine practitioners, nutritionists, chiropractors, and other wellness professionals.
• Maintain and expand a database of practitioner and referral relationships.
• Create outreach emails, printed materials, follow-up campaigns, and partnership proposals.
• Help develop and promote Arcana’s practitioner referral or professional partnership program.
• Track contacts, responses, follow-ups, referrals, and campaign results.
