Marketing Manager

About the role

We are hiring a hands-on Marketing Manager in Fort Lauderdale for a recent marketing graduate or someone with up to three years of experience.

This is an in-person seat; Adobe InDesign or Adobe Creative Cloud is required, and Canva-only, remote, social-only, and director-only applicants will not be a fit.

Hernandez Development & Construction is a Florida general contractor and developer of large light-industrial, commercial, and self-storage projects.

Marketing supports Hernandez Construction, Hernandez Development, and Hernandez Development Services.

The person in this role helps us win work, present projects well, and keep employees informed.

The job

You are the single owner of marketing, not a specialist and not a manager of other marketers. One day you will build a proposal or pitch deck in Adobe. The next you will update the website, send an internal announcement, pull photos from a job site, or help with an event. Design is part of the job, about 20 to 30 percent. The rest is running the function: priorities, presentations, CRM, events, and recommendations to leadership.

We will teach you our business. Construction or real estate experience is helpful, not required.

What you will do

• Build and update proposals, presentations, one-pagers, and pitch decks in Adobe InDesign or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Keep visual standards and templates current across the company.
• Coordinate project photography and keep visual assets ready for proposals, the website, and press.
• Update the website (Replit), LinkedIn, project announcements, award submissions, and press materials.
• Use CRM and email tools to support client and prospect communication.
• Run internal communications and company events: new hires, milestones, quarterly events, annual meeting.
• Use AI tools to speed research, drafts, and repeatable work, then check the output.
• Bring leadership a recommendation, not a problem.
