10 weekly hours (remote). Bi-weekly meeting required with Director. Subbing opportunities at the circulation desk available for extra hours. Some events required to attend.

Position Responsibilities

To create content, post and engage on social media, create program flyers, update our website, and write our newspaper article. Must be familiar with creating reels.

(Primarily Remote Hours)

· Stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

· Communicates campaign objectives and timelines. Provides instructions for use or promotion to team.

· Updates the TV Panel at least once per month with library programs to keep patrons informed.

· Print out the program flyers to place in our library for promotion and place strategically in the library.

· Creates the monthly calendar of events and submits program information to local newspapers.

· Studies the target audience for guidance and feedback.

· Updates the website with current information.

· Understands and engages with social media (Currently Facebook and Instagram).

· Updates our display with marketing or engaging materials monthly as needed. Ex. Cookie Display, Mitten Display, Lego Display.

(Additional duties if subbing circulation)

· Helps patrons locate books

· Helps patrons find material online

· Checks books in and out at the front desk

· Sorts and shelves books according to their collection

· Updates patron profiles

· Assists patrons with internet access and meeting their technical needs

· Collects Fines

· Keeps all areas neat and inviting in your assigned area (public space, desk, refrigerator, etc.)
