Job Description

Job Overview

We're looking for an organized, creative, and proactive Marketing Associate to help bring our marketing and events to life. This is a great opportunity for an early-career marketer who enjoys social media, content creation, email marketing, CRM management, and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps campaigns and events running smoothly.

Social media management will be a significant part of this position. You'll also support email campaigns, HubSpot CRM management, event promotion and execution, and the creation of branded marketing materials. This role includes periodic travel to support company conferences and events throughout the year.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across several projects at once, has strong attention to detail, and isn't afraid to take ownership of a task and move it forward. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should be curious, resourceful, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

* · Manage day-to-day social media activity, including drafting, scheduling, and publishing posts.

· Maintain the social media content calendar and help identify timely content opportunities.

· Create polished, on-brand graphics and marketing materials using Canva.

· Repurpose event, video, and long-form content into social posts, emails, and other promotional assets.

· Monitor social channels, engage with relevant audiences, and help grow our online presence.

· Track social media performance and prepare clear, straightforward reports on what is working.

· Build and send marketing emails through HubSpot.

· Maintain HubSpot by managing contact records, lists, segmentation, email campaigns, and CRM data while supporting business development and marketing initiatives through accurate organization and reporting.

· Assist with landing pages, forms, registration communications, and post-event follow-up.

· Support virtual and in-person events, including promotion, speaker coordination, registration, attendee communications, event-day logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.

· Help manage event setup, registration, and attendee experience through Accelevents.

· Coordinate with internal team members, speakers, partners, vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

· Proofread and quality-check marketing materials before they are published.

· Keep project details, timelines, files, and follow-up items organized.

· Pitch in on other marketing and administrative projects as needed.

Experience

* · Approximately 1 to 2 years of marketing, communications, social media, or related experience. Strong internships and relevant project experience also count.

· Hands-on experience managing social media for a company, organization, or brand.

· Experience creating attractive, professional materials in Canva.

· Hands-on experience with HubSpot, particularly email marketing, contact management, forms, lists, segmentation, and day-to-day CRM management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in HubSpot regularly and eager to continue building their expertise.

· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

· Excellent organization and attention to detail.

· The ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow through without losing track of the details.

· Good judgment and a willingness to ask questions when something is unclear.

· A collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented approach.

· Comfort learning new platforms and figuring out unfamiliar tools.

· Willingness to travel approximately 15 to 20 percent to support conferences and events throughout the year, including occasional evenings and multi-day travel.

Nice to Have

· Experience using Accelevents or another event management platform.

· Experience supporting webinars, conferences, or other virtual and in-person events.

· Basic video editing or short-form video creation skills.

· Familiarity with LinkedIn-focused or B2B social media marketing.

· Experience reviewing marketing analytics and turning them into practical recommendations.

· Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to improve content creation, research, and day-to-day productivity.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means our social channels remain active and polished, HubSpot stays organized and up to date, campaigns and events run smoothly, details don't fall through the cracks, and the broader team can rely on you to keep projects moving. Over time, you'll have opportunities to take greater ownership of campaigns, content, CRM management, events, and other marketing initiatives.

Why Join Us

You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, not just one narrow specialty. You'll have opportunities to contribute ideas, see projects through from planning to execution, and grow your skills in social media, content creation, email marketing, CRM management, and event marketing while working alongside a collaborative, fast-moving team.
