Job Description
Content Marketing Manager
For over 100 years, we've restored Steinways that become treasured family heirlooms. In a world moving faster than ever, we blend old-world craftsmanship with exceptional service so families can slow down and enjoy music together. We're hiring a Content Marketing Manager to share this craft and tell stories that matter through the videos, livestreams, web pages, emails, and campaigns that help more piano lovers find their dream Steinway.
About Lindeblad
We're a family business that sells pre-owned and restored Steinway pianos to buyers nationwide, led by Todd Lindeblad, our fourth-generation owner.
- Our showroom is in Pine Brook, NJ, and our Restoration Center is in Dover, NJ.
- We restore and sell more Steinways than anyone in the country, with 25 craftsmen and over 300 years of combined experience.
- Our pianos are in the homes of concert artists and Steinway artists, and of Taylor Swift, Stephen Colbert, and more.
- We're a team of 35 people.
The Job
We’ve built marketing playbooks that work, and we’re looking for someone to run them and make them better. The role covers long-form videos filmed with Todd and our craftsmen, a monthly livestream, SEO pages and blogs based on the video topics, and the promotions we run throughout the year. You’ll start from a library of Claude skills (saved instructions) we’ve built for video scripts, emails, captions, and launches, so every draft begins from a strong first version that you shape and improve. As you learn what works, you’ll help decide what we change and test next.
What You'll Own
- Long-form video and its web page
- Write video scripts from our topic list, which is built from what Steinway buyers search for. The goal is to improve SEO/AEO and organic search traffic.
- Plan each shoot, film Todd and our craftsmen, and give our video editor revision notes until each video is ready to post
- Build the SEO/AEO page on our website that goes with each video
- Outcome: launch 2 new videos a month, each with its own SEO landing page
- The monthly livestream and our giveaway
- Script and produce a monthly livestream with Todd, and run the camera (we shoot on an iPhone)
- Run our giveaway from a documented playbook: the entry page, the sweepstakes administrator, the qualifying questions, and the winner selection
- Outcome: a livestream every month on schedule, and giveaway leads handed to our sales team
- Promotions
- Launch each promotion end to end from our playbook: landing pages, site banners, website chat, the email sequence in Pardot, campaign tracking in Salesforce, and taking it all down when it ends
- Outcome: every promotion on the calendar launches and ends on its dates, with results recorded and used to improve future promotions
- Website updates and landing page tests
- Update pages and build landing page tests with Claude Code; our web designer polishes them
- No coding background required.
- Outcome: tests and pages live on schedule
- Organic social, starting around month 3
- Keep our 7 social channels posting, using our AI-assisted caption and review process to write and schedule posts
- Study trends and how our past posts performed, and use what you learn to improve the content and grow engagement
- Outcome: 5 posts a day with no gaps
- Lead volume KPIs
- Track our lead volume and other marketing KPIs every week
- Outcome: lead volume KPIs tracked and current every week
Your First Year
- First 30 days: produce and film a livestream with Todd, learn our content system (Dropbox, our content register, Metricool, Frame.io, Asana), give your first revision notes to our video editor, and script and film your first long-form video
- By 60 days: you run livestream production, ship 2 long-form videos a month with their pages, and track lead volume KPIs every week
- By 90 days: you've taken over organic social, posting 5 times a day across our 7 channels, and launched one promotion end to end
- By 6 months: you've launched your first landing page tests and kept posting with no gaps
- By 1 year: you run all of it on your own: a monthly livestream, 2 long-form videos a month with their pages, 5 posts a day across our 7 channels, ongoing landing page tests, and weekly lead volume KPIs. You've also run a giveaway end to end, and launched and closed every quarterly promotion on time
Who You'll Work With
- Todd Lindeblad, owner and head of sales. You report to Todd and will work with him more than anyone else in the company.
- Our video editor, who edits every video you shoot, working from your notes
- Our web designer, who polishes your pages
- Our craftsmen in Dover, who you'll plan and film shoots with
What We're Looking For
We care more about what you've made than how many years you've worked. Fast learners and experienced marketers are both welcome to apply. Show us:
- You write well. Scripts, emails or page copy you wrote yourself.
- You've built content. Videos you produced, pages you built or campaigns you launched. Personal projects count.
- You use AI to do real work. Something you built or made with Claude or a similar tool, and where it fell short. We want someone who knows when to use AI, when not to, and how to use it to solve any challenge or skill gap.
- You teach yourself. A skill you learned with no one teaching you, and what it changed.
- You can work alongside a founder with a lot of ideas. You stay calm when priorities shift, and you balance current work with new and shifting tasks and opportunities.
- You work well with people. You'll plan shoots with our craftsmen and work closely with a small team.
Nice to have
experience producing videos and working with a video editor, managing social media, creating content for a website, and marketing an expensive, considered purchase (homes, cars, jewelry, boats, musical instruments).
