Marketing Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support our agency during our busy fall season. This is an excellent opportunity for a high school senior or college student who would like to gain hands-on experience working in a professional small-business environment.

Working directly with the Agency Manager, you will gain practical experience in customer service, marketing, and database management.

Responsibilities may include

• Assisting with day-to-day agency operations and administrative projects
• Supporting Individual and Medicare insurance activities, including preparing quotes and client communications (90% of the work).
• Assisting with annual client renewal activities
• Entering and updating leads and client information in our Client Management System
• Following established workflows for new leads and existing clients
• Helping prepare and send client emails and other communications
• Assisting with basic marketing and outreach activities
• Using Microsoft Word, Excel, ChatGPT and other business technology

Skills

• Organized and dependable
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, ChatGPT or a customer/client management database is helpful, but not required.
• A strong problem solver
• A good verbal and written communicator
• Comfortable learning and using technology
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow established processes
• A self-starter who can work independently after training
• Positive, professional, and willing to learn

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
