Influencer Marketing Intern Associate

About the role

Athletes recruiting athletes is our highest-leverage growth motion. This role finds, recruits, and manages the athletes, creators, and ambassadors who carry SportsID to their own networks, then runs the campaigns and partner-code programs that turn those relationships into signups.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research athletes, coaches, and creators who fit the SportsID audience.
• Run outreach and manage ongoing relationships with ambassadors and micro-influencers.
• Brief campaigns, coordinate deliverables, and collect user-generated content.
• Operate the ambassador program: onboarding, partner codes, and participation tracking.
• Track which relationships and codes drive signups, and report results weekly.
• Coordinate closely with social media so ambassador content feeds the channel calendar.

Required

• AI-enabled: able to use AI tools to augment your own skills and accelerate your output, and to pick up new tools quickly as they change. Prior experience with any specific platform is not required.
• Comfort with cold and warm outreach, and persistence in following up.
• Clear, personable written communication.
• Organized relationship tracking across many contacts at once.
• Understanding of creator and micro-influencer dynamics.
• Genuine interest in sports and youth athletics.

Nice to have

• Experience as an athlete, coach, or team member.
• Prior influencer, ambassador, or community program experience.
• An existing network in youth or collegiate sports.

Success in the first 90 days

• A working ambassador pipeline with a documented outreach process.
• A first cohort of ambassadors recruited and active.
• Partner-code tracking in place showing which relationships convert.
• A repeatable campaign brief the next cohort can run.
