Fall Social Media Intern

Society Sobriety is a fast-growing, NYC-based alcohol-free events community hosting curated experiences for young professionals. We’re looking for someone creative, organized, and outgoing to help grow our brand both online and in-person for the fall semester, with an opportunity to renew.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role combining social media, marketing, and event support. You’ll help run our digital presence, work with brands and influencers, and be part of executing events from start to finish.

Days and hours: 10:30- 4 pm on Tuesday (remote)

10:30- 4 pm on Thursday (in person)

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Society Sobriety’s Instagram and TikTok
• Create and post content (Reels, TikToks, stories, recaps)
• Capture content live at events (photo + video) and post in real time
• Coordinate with influencers and brand partners
• Assist with marketing campaigns and event promotion
• Help with event setup, check-in, and breakdown
• Engage with our community (DMs, comments, outreach)

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok trends
• Comfortable being on-site at events and capturing content
• Outgoing, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Interest in wellness, social experiences, or the sober-curious space
• NYC-based and available evenings/weekends
