Freelance Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About Us

Sweat Yoga is a hot yoga studio with three locations across Los Angeles. Our community is the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for a creative freelancer to help us show that online. If you love yoga, wellness, and making content people want to watch, we'd love to meet you.

About the Project

We're looking for an independent social media pro to run our content from idea to post. You'll come into our studios to film mock classes, teachers, and community moments, then turn that footage into content that feels like us. You'll also handle our DMs and comments and map out the plan for each month.

Scope of Work

• Film photo and video content on site at our LA studios
• Edit and deliver Reels, TikToks, and Stories that match our brand and voice
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on a monthly basis to build out a content calendar based on upcoming classes, trainings, events, promotions, and campaigns
• Respond to DMs and comments in a warm, timely way, and pass client questions to our team
• Write captions and bring ideas for trends that fit our brand
• Share a quick monthly recap of what worked and ideas for the next month

What We're Looking For

• Strong short-form video skills, both filming and editing
• Your own equipment and editing software
• A good eye for visuals and a friendly, natural writing voice
• Organized and self-directed, with a track record of hitting deadlines
• Comfortable directing people on camera
• Reliable transportation to get between our LA studios
• Experience with fitness, yoga, or wellness brands is a big plus

Perks

• Complimentary classes at Sweat Yoga
• 30% off retail
• Flexible schedule that you set around shoot days
• Potential for a long-term, ongoing partnership
