ROLE DESCRIPTION

Web ’n Retail is seeking a creative, organized, and dependable Social Media Coordinator who is excited about working in music and entertainment marketing. This is an opportunity to manage social media content for musicians and entertainment professionals while gaining hands-on experience with artist branding, music releases, audience development, and digital promotion.

The contractor will turn client-provided photos, videos, music, and updates into engaging content tailored to each artist’s voice and brand. The role also includes managing content calendars, monitoring performance, and providing guidance to a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern.

This position is especially well suited to someone who wants to build a career in music marketing and values creative, flexible, remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, create, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Write engaging captions, create graphics, and edit short-form videos
• Maintain content calendars, organize client materials, research content ideas, and ensure all posts are accurate and consistent
• Track basic engagement and audience-growth results
• Assign and review work completed by the Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience creating or managing social media content for a business, artist, organization, or client
• Strong writing, communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Experience with Canva and basic short-form video editing
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
• Interest in music, entertainment, social media, and digital marketing
