Freelance Digital Marketer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a contract or project-based marketing professional to plan, create, and manage content across social media, email marketing, and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for a freelancer or consultant who can work independently, turn business priorities into a consistent content cadence, and deliver polished, professional materials with minimal oversight.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Develop and execute a social media content calendar (LinkedIn primary; Instagram/Facebook as applicable)
• Write, design, and schedule LinkedIn posts to build visibility with hotel owners, brokers, and industry contacts
• Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including outreach sequences, newsletters, and list segmentation
• Draft copy and select or design graphics consistent with brand voice and visual identity
• Track engagement metrics (opens, clicks, impressions, followers, contact lists, etc.) and report monthly performance summaries
• Coordinate with leadership on messaging for business development, recruiting, and company announcements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, email marketing, or content marketing (agency or freelance experience welcome)
• Demonstrated experience managing LinkedIn company pages and/or executive personal branding
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar)
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for a professional, B2B hospitality audience
• Basic graphic design capability (Canva or similar) for on-brand visual content
• Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or B2B services industries is a plus

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, structured as either a defined project (e.g., a 90-day content build-out) or an ongoing monthly retainer, to be agreed upon with the selected candidate. H
