Job Description

About Trauma Healing Accelerated

Trauma Healing Accelerated (THA) is an education organization built on the Biology of Trauma® framework developed by Dr. Aimie Apigian, a double board-certified physician and author of *The Biology of Trauma*. The framework explains how unresolved trauma is held in the body and nervous system, and how it can be addressed through a biology-first approach.

THA serves two audiences: individuals pursuing their own healing, and the coaches, therapists and clinicians who support them. Our offerings span free educational resources, including the Biology of Trauma podcast and YouTube channel, through our flagship Foundational Journey, the Biology of Trauma® modules and yearlong programs. All THA offerings are educational in nature and do not constitute medical advice.

  • Position: Content & Growth Lead
  • Location: Remote (team operates on Pacific Time)
  • Reports to: Executive Director of Programs
  • Key relationship: Dr. Aimie Apigian, Founder
  • Employment type: Contract, full-time hours

Position overview

The Content & Growth Lead is accountable for THA's growth engine: the strategy, content and channels through which new audiences discover our work and enroll in our programs. The role holds a comprehensive command of THA's existing content library and determines what should be created, repurposed or reintroduced to market.

This is a strategic leadership position with hands-on responsibility. The Content & Growth Lead sets direction across email marketing, podcast, YouTube, social media, the website, partnerships, speaking and public relations, directs the contributors who execute that work, and owns the weekly performance reporting for each channel. The role relies on AI tools and automated systems to research, draft, repurpose and report at a scale a small team could not reach manually.

Key responsibilities

Content strategy and library management

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of THA's content library, including podcast episodes, video, courses, workshops, guides and participant testimonials.
  • Determine what content to create, repurpose or reintroduce, prioritizing what advances prospective participants toward enrollment.
  • Own the integrated content and marketing calendar, aligning launches, evergreen content and promotions across all channels.
  • Ensure all content reflects the founder's voice and THA brand standards, and manage the approval process with appropriate lead time.

Email marketing

  • Lead email marketing strategy, including campaigns, launch sequences, nurture flows and list health across both audience segments.
  • Plan, write or direct, test and report on all email communications.

Channel oversight

  • Podcast and YouTube: Direct episode strategy, AI search-optimized titles and descriptions, and clip production that supports audience acquisition.
  • Social media: Oversee Instagram and Facebook for the individual audience and LinkedIn for the practitioner audience, including short-form video, copy, comment automation and paid amplification of high-performing content.
  • Website: Oversee messaging, landing pages and opt-in experiences to improve visitor-to-subscriber conversion.
  • Partnerships: Develop podcast guest appearances, affiliate and collaborator promotions, and cross-audience partnerships.
  • Speaking and public relations: Secure and prepare speaking engagements and media opportunities for the founder.
  • Book events: Plan and promote in-person and virtual gatherings centered on *The Biology of Trauma* that introduce new audiences to THA.

Team leadership and performance reporting

  • Direct the creative, video and marketing contributors who produce content, providing clear briefs and quality review prior to founder approval.
  • Review weekly performance metrics for each channel, interpret results and recommend next actions.

AI and automation

  • Use AI tools such as Claude daily to research topics, draft and edit content in the founder's voice, and repurpose long-form material into email, social and video assets.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows for content production, publishing, comment automation, email sequences and weekly reporting.
  • Build and refine AI assistants, prompts and brand-voice guides so contributors produce on-brand work with less review.
  • Partner with THA's AI and web systems specialist to identify new opportunities to automate repetitive work.
  • Review all AI-generated content for accuracy and voice before it is published.

Key performance indicators

Performance in this role is measured by business outcomes rather than content volume.

  • Growth in email subscribers and assessment completions, by acquisition source
  • Conversion from free content into the Foundational Journey and other programs
  • Email performance, including open and click rates, list health and revenue per campaign
  • Podcast downloads, YouTube watch time and subscriber growth, and social media reach and engagement
  • Partnership, speaking and media opportunities secured each quarter
  • Consistent delivery of complete, on-brand work, reducing quality issues that require founder intervention

Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated experience leading multichannel content or growth marketing, with email marketing as a core competency.
  • A proven record of connecting content strategy to measurable outcomes, including subscriber growth, conversion and revenue.
  • Advanced, hands-on proficiency with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for content research, drafting and repurposing, with examples of how AI improved output or results.
  • Experience building or managing marketing automations, such as email sequences, social and comment automation, or no-code workflow tools like Zapier or n8n.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write authentically in another person's voice.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into clear recommendations.
  • Experience directing the work of others through clear briefs, review and constructive feedback.
  • Exceptional organization and self-direction, with a proactive approach to planning and execution.

No prior experience with THA programs is necessary.
