Communications Specialist I - Marketing

Join the Integrated Marketing Campaigns (IMC) team to elevate the BAE Systems, Space & Mission Systems (SMS) brand. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented marketer to assist in synchronizing branding and messaging across channels, helping to develop marketing materials and support the optimization of campaign performance.

The Strategic Operations (StratOps) Strategic Capabilities Unit, consists of Washington DC Operations, Marketing & Communications and Strategic Development. The StratOps team promotes and elevates the business within our markets, works with customers and industry to influence and drive growth and facilitate collaboration across the business enterprise to increase opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Campaign execution: Assist in the execution and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns and external events in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Brand alignment: Partner with stakeholders to ensure all collateral and messaging align with strategic priorities and brand standards.
• Portfolio management: Assist in the management of a marketing portfolio, such as speaking engagements, to ensure consistency in the messaging and deployment of our marketing assets across the business.
• Event coordination: Operational support for event strategic messaging in connection to integrated marketing campaigns and visual presence and staff both internal and external company events.
• Compliance: Maintain all records and reports in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment

This position requires regular in-
