Leonard Resource Group

Communications & Marketing Strategist — Public Sector & Nonprofit Clients

Seattle, WA, US$70,000-$90,000Posted 1 day ago

Job Description

Leonard Resource Group (LRG) has been building communications campaigns for nonprofit, state, local, and federal clients since 1996. We're a dual-headquartered agency based in Washington, DC and Seattle. Our work shows up in things like public health outreach, community engagement plans, and policy campaigns that actually affect people's lives.

We're hiring a Communications & Marketing Strategist for our Seattle office to sit between strategy and execution: turning a campaign plan into a workplan, running the day-to-day across creative, digital, social, and events, and being the person accountable when deadlines hit.

This is a chance to put strategic communications skills toward work with lasting public value — campaigns that shape how communities and government agencies connect with the people they serve.

What You'll Do

*Strategy & Content*

  • Build and own marketing campaigns for LRG's clients, including messaging frameworks, audience segmentation, and testing strategy
  • Turn survey and market research (and legacy data) into strategy, targeting, and channel mix
  • Write and produce content for social, web, and email newsletters
  • Translate technical and policy information into content that works for both expert and general audiences

*Analytics & Reporting*

  • Set KPIs and build dashboards across client campaigns
  • Run A/B tests, publish monthly reports, and brief clients and leadership on recommendations each quarter

*Client, Vendor & Project Management*

  • Track workplans and monitor budgets and timelines across assigned accounts
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors so deliverables land on time and on budget
  • Support event communications planning and work outreach on-site at conferences, workshops, and stakeholder events
  • Help write LRG's own proposals, capabilities statements, and business development materials

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in strategic communications, digital marketing, or program management
  • Strong project mana
