Job Description
Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager
Law Offices of Jaime A. Cuevas, Jr., Inc.
Montebello, CA | Full-Time | In Person $25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Position
The Law Offices of Jaime A. Cuevas, Jr., Inc. is seeking a creative, outgoing, and highly motivated Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to develop and manage the firm's social media, Google Ads, search engine optimization (SEO), and overall digital presence.
We are not looking for someone to simply post generic legal graphics or advertisements.
We want someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, knows how to create engaging short-form content, follows current social media trends, and has hands-on experience with Google Ads, SEO, Google Business Profile, website optimization, and digital analytics.
Our goal is twofold: build a recognizable and approachable local brand on social media while strengthening the firm's visibility when potential clients search for legal services on Google.
We want people in our community to get to know our attorneys and staff, learn something useful, and remember our firm when they or someone they know needs legal help.
This is a hands-on creative and digital marketing role with significant independence. The person hired will have the opportunity to pitch ideas, develop recurring content series, film attorneys and staff, manage digital advertising campaigns, improve organic search visibility, analyze performance, and help shape the firm's overall digital marketing strategy.
What You'll Do
You will take ownership of the firm's day-to-day social media and digital marketing presence, including:
- Manage the firm's presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant social platforms
- Develop and maintain a consistent social media and digital marketing calendar
- Create, film, edit, and publish short-form videos, TikToks, Reels, Stories, photos, graphics, and other digital content
- Work directly with attorneys and staff to create engaging content
- Direct attorneys and staff on camera to produce natural, entertaining, and informative videos
- Turn legal and financial topics into simple, interesting, consumer-friendly content
- Develop recurring content series, FAQs, myth-vs.-fact videos, attorney Q&As, reactions, behind-the-scenes content, and other creative concepts
- Identify current social media trends, sounds, formats, topics, and memes that can appropriately be adapted to the firm's brand
- Write engaging hooks, captions, headlines, advertising copy, and calls-to-action
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and personality across platforms
- Manage posting schedules and day-to-day account activity
- Monitor comments, engagement, audience feedback, and social media inquiries
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including campaign structure, keywords, match types, negative keywords, ad copy, budgets, bidding strategies, search terms, geographic targeting, and ongoing optimization
- Monitor Google Ads performance using metrics such as impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, conversions, conversion rate, cost per lead/acquisition, and other relevant KPIs
- Conduct ongoing keyword research for both paid search and organic search opportunities
- Manage and improve the firm's search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, including on-page SEO, local SEO, content SEO, and basic technical SEO
- Optimize website content, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, keywords, and other on-page SEO elements
- Identify website or technical issues that may negatively affect search visibility and implement or coordinate appropriate improvements
- Monitor organic search traffic, keyword performance, website traffic, conversions, inquiries, and lead generation
- Use platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Keyword Planner to monitor and improve performance
- Manage and optimize the firm's Google Business Profile, including business information, posts, photos, reviews, and local search visibility
- Assist with website/CMS updates, landing pages, and SEO-focused website content
- Help maintain accurate conversion tracking so the firm can understand which marketing channels and campaigns generate inquiries and leads
- Monitor competitors and identify opportunities to improve the firm's social, paid-search, and organic-search visibility
- Assist with paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other appropriate platforms
- Analyze social media and advertising performance to identify what is working and where improvements can be made
- Track metrics including views, reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, conversions, inquiries, and leads
- Provide periodic reports explaining social media, Google Ads, SEO, website, and campaign performance
- Photograph and film attorneys, staff, office activities, community events, and other appropriate content
- Stay current on social media, digital advertising, SEO, and online marketing trends and proactively bring new ideas to the firm
- Help develop the firm's overall digital brand and online personality
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the firm's digital presence rather than waiting to be told what to work on
- Occasionally travel to the firm's San Bernardino office to film, photograph, and create content with attorneys and staff at that location
