Backyard Pet Services is a pet care company focused on providing top-notch services for busy professionals and first-time dog owners. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to help capture and create engaging video content that showcases our services and connects with our audience.

Responsibilities

• Capture basic background video footage (B-roll) of our services, facilities, staff, and client interactions.
• Work closely with staff to brainstorm, plan, and create promotional videos for new services.
• Edit short-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Assist in scheduling and posting video content across our social channels.
• Ensure videos align with our brand voice and messaging.
• Stay updated on social media trends to optimize content engagement.

Qualifications

• Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling.
• Basic experience with video shooting (smartphone or camera) and editing (Canva, CapCut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
• Interest in pet care is a plus!
