Job Description
This is an in-person role at our Coeur d'Alene, Idaho office. Remote applicants will not be considered.
We are an established US tax resolution firm building an in-house content team. We need someone who can pick up a camera in the morning and have a finished ad ready by the afternoon. You will film our leaders and team on site, edit video, design static ads, and run our Facebook and Instagram pages.
What's in it for you
* You build it. This is a new in-house content function, and you shape how it runs, working from our brand and messaging direction. Execution is key.
* Direct access to leadership. You film and work with the firm's partners and team leads, with fast feedback and approvals that come back the same day.
* Stable local work. Part-time (~20 hrs/week) on-site in Coeur d'Alene, paid bi-weekly. Hours ramp up as the role proves out.
What matters most, in order
1. Short-form video. You shoot it and edit it yourself, fast, with strong hooks, captions and pacing.
2. Static ads. You turn provided copy into clean, on-brand graphics.
3. Channel management. Facebook and Instagram are the main focus, with YouTube as a possible third channel. Paid ad creative always comes first, then organic. You keep our channels posted, organized and responded to.
What you will do
* Film our managing partner, team leads and staff on site. Most are not natural on camera, so you will coach them through takes and make them look and sound good.
* Edit short-form video for Meta ads and organic posts, usually with same-day or next-day turnaround.
* Design static ads and social graphics from copy our marketing lead provides.
* Manage the Facebook page, including comments on our ads, and run organic content on Instagram. Route inquiries from prospects in comments or messages to our setting team right away.
* Keep a simple content calendar and an organized library of footage and finished assets.
* Coordinate customer testimonial and UGC-style content, with signed client releases and following our compliance guidelines.
* Work inside our advertising compliance guidelines. Tax resolution is a regulated field and every piece is reviewed before it goes live.
What we need to see
* A portfolio of short-form video you personally shot and edited.
* Working skill in a video editor (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut) and a design tool (Canva, Photoshop or Figma).
* Comfort directing people who are nervous on camera.
* Experience managing a business social account, including comments and messages.
* Reliable on-site availability in Coeur d'Alene (~20 hrs/week).
* You bring your own camera, lighting, and editing setup. We provide on-site editing space.
Nice to have: paid ad creative experience, motion graphics, and experience in financial, legal or other regulated industries.
Compensation: $2,000-$3,500/month to start (part-time, ~20 hrs/week), paid bi-weekly. Hours and pay ramp up with effectiveness.
How we hire
1. Portfolio review.
2. A 30-minute conversation at our office.
3. A paid test project: we hand you raw footage and copy, and you return one 30-second ad with 3 to 5 hook variations, plus one static, within 48 hours.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
