Social Media and Marketing Manager

For over 30 years, Sweetgrass Properties has managed vacation rentals across Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Isle of Palms, and Wild Dunes Resort, staying locally owned and locally rooted the whole way through. We're looking for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to lead the creative direction and growth strategy behind that story.

This role is the perfect blend of social content creation and paid strategy, managing all Sweetgrass accounts from organic growth strategy to content creation to social scale and beyond, with Meta Ads as a supporting piece of the mix. You'll set the creative direction for how Charleston's coast gets introduced to both future guests and future homeowners.

What you'll own

• Organic social strategy and content creation across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, and Google Business Profile
• Running and updating Meta Ads campaigns as a supporting layer to organic growth
• Managing the photography schedule alongside our team photographer, including heading out to properties for content shoots along with scheduling, staging, and shoot logistics for new homes
• Partnering with the company owner on campaign ideas, mailers, and overall marketing strategy
• Developing campaigns with the Revenue + Reservations Team for key targeting during the holiday season and summer's busiest months
• Collaborating with our Graphic Designer & Marketing Manager to build a cohesive brand presence and bring the company to life
• Blog writing within the company website each month, covering homeowner topics and local must-knows
• SEO and Google Ads best practices, working alongside our web provider to build the strongest strategy across every growth lever, with Google Analytics knowledge a plus!
• Manage local partnerships for beach gear, grocery deliveries and beyond with discount deals for our guests
