### About the Role

We are seeking an experienced English-language content editor and writer to develop, review, and improve landing pages for online dating and relationship platforms targeting the U.S. market.

We are particularly interested in professionals with strong backgrounds in journalism, publishing, editorial writing, or professional content creation who understand American culture, language preferences, and consumer expectations.

Our goal is to create content that is original, accurate, trustworthy, and genuinely useful to readers—not simply optimized for search engine rankings.

The ideal candidate combines excellent writing skills with independent editorial judgment and is comfortable challenging, revising, or rejecting content that does not meet professional quality standards.

### Key Responsibilities

- Landing Page Writing: Research, develop, and write original, engaging, and informative English-language landing pages tailored to U.S. audiences.

- Content Quality Review: Evaluate existing and newly created landing pages for accuracy, originality, usefulness, credibility, readability, and relevance to user needs.

- Editorial Improvement: Identify weaknesses in structure, clarity, tone, factual support, and overall content quality. Provide actionable feedback and make necessary revisions.

- Quality Control: Identify repetitive, generic, misleading, keyword-stuffed, or low-value content, including common problems found in AI-generated writing.

- Audience Understanding: Ensure content reflects natural American English, cultural expectations, and the real interests and concerns of U.S. users.

- SEO Content Standards: Apply sound editorial judgment and an understanding of search intent and Google's people-first content principles.

- Content Development: Recommend valuable topics, fresh perspectives, and content improvements based on user needs and industry research.

- Fact-Checking: Verify important claims and ensure that published content is accurate, credible, and appropriately supported.

### Qualifications

Required

- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong command of American English.

- Demonstrated professional experience in content writing, editing, journalism, publishing, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of U.S. culture, consumer behavior, and natural American communication styles.

- Ability to independently write, review, and substantially improve professional website content.

- Excellent research, fact-checking, critical thinking, and editorial judgment.

- Ability to identify weak, repetitive, superficial, or unsupported content and provide specific recommendations for improvement.

- Understanding of audience needs, content usefulness, originality, and basic SEO content principles.

- Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and consistently meet agreed deadlines.

- A verifiable professional background and portfolio of relevant published writing or editorial work.

Preferred

- 5+ years of professional writing or editorial experience.

- Background as a journalist, newspaper or magazine editor, columnist, publishing editor, or senior freelance writer.

- Experience writing, reviewing, or editing SEO landing pages and other website content.

- Familiarity with Google's helpful content guidance and search quality principles.

- Experience identifying and improving low-quality AI-generated content.

- Interest in online dating, relationships, senior dating, millionaire dating, or related consumer services.

### Work Arrangement

- Fully remote, independent contractor opportunity.

- Flexible working arrangements based on assigned projects and agreed deadlines.

- Assignments may include landing page writing, editorial review, content improvement, and related content quality work.

- Compensation will be agreed upon based on the scope and requirements of each assignment.

- No guaranteed minimum workload.

- No employee benefits, including health insurance, dental coverage, retirement plans, or paid time off.

- Contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes.

- A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Independent Contractor Agreement are required.
